CHECKING SNEAKERS!
I will often ask customers to show me the bottoms of their tennis shoes. Please do not be offended by this! It is absolutely imperative that flat-soled sneakers are used on the clay courts. I have an extensive array of flat soled sneakers, in all sizes, adult and children’s sizes that are available free of charge.

The damage caused by running shoes, cross trainers, etc. can take up to an hour to repair and it is exhausting work. Sweeping only covers up the divots, scrapes and digs; it does not repair them.

It is no fun to play on a court that has been dug up by improper shoes. I am asking for your understanding concerning this matter so that everyone can enjoy a well-maintained clay court.
